Texas holdem poker tips are fairly easy to learn.When you play in live holdem games, listen to the players.After awhile you will learn all the tips. But you will be like everyone else, you know the term but really don't know how to apply them at all times.I am going to show some tips.But in reality I want you to really understand them and how and when to apply them.
Poker tells.Poker tells are an inexact science.You observe the other players on the way then act or talk.This happens in live poker games.But here is one poker tell that is 99% correct.This is it: When a poker player orders food and the food arrives and he or she are still being dealt in.If they play a hand, the hand is better than they normally play because they are more interested in eating their food then playing.So observe this 4 or 5 times and you see that I am right about this tell.Other poker tells,some work,some don't.Why is this,simple, there is alot of distractions when a player plays.
Texas holdem starting hands.Pocket AA,KK,QQ,AK suited,and AK.All the rest of holdem starting hands are less.Alot of this has to do in what type of game you are in.Say you are in a small limit poker game.AQ suited is a good hand to play.In a high limit poker AQ suited is a marginal hand to play. And in No-limit poker AQ suited is one the worst hands to play.You will lose a lot of money in no-limit holdem with AQ suited because most of the time the player you are against will have AK or better.If a A comes on the flop, you are hooked.
Heart and guts poker.To win a lot of money at poker in the long run you must play with your poker heart and guts.Heart is the good feeling when playing and you lose a pot to a lesser hand.That happens in poker all the time.So you must not be upset,if you are upset you will start to play bad yourself.Guts is your first feeling on a poker hand that you have.If you feel you have the best hand continue on.If your guts say no good, dump the hand no matter what the hand is.In the long run you will be right most of the time.Another thing about poker is how you feel when you have been in a game for awhile.Say you feel that most of the players are as good or better than you.GET OUT. Say you feel that you are not going to win a lot of money.GET OUT. In the long run that is what poker is about.
